The Mezzanine at ALCAZAR

Take a little height. Never your distance.
Overlooking the Grand Hall, the Mezzanine offers another way to experience ALCAZAR.
Head upstairs for a drink, meet friends, continue a conversation and feel the house change rhythm as the night unfolds. Music reaches the upper level, the lights reshape the space and the energy of the room below always remains present.
The view of the stage is partial and may sometimes be obstructed. The Mezzanine is therefore not the place to settle in if you want to follow Paris s’éveille in its entirety.
It offers something else: the atmosphere of ALCAZAR, experienced from slightly further back.

A balcony overlooking the energy of the house
From upstairs, you catch glimpses of the movements in the Grand Hall, the arrivals, the changing lights and the different moments of the evening.
The show occasionally appears through the various perspectives, but it is not the centre of the experience here. You feel its energy, hear the music and sense the audience’s reactions more than you follow every tableau.
This position gives the Mezzanine its own particular personality.
It remains fully connected to the party while leaving more room for conversation, reunions and the pleasure of taking your time over a drink.
The Grand Hall experiences the show up close. The Mezzanine catches its vibrations.

A bar for meeting up and extending the evening
The bar gives the Mezzanine its true purpose.
Meet friends there, change atmosphere during the night or take a pause without ever leaving ALCAZAR.
Cocktails accompany the conversations while the house continues to move a few metres below.
The Mezzanine becomes a place of transition that makes you want to stay: close enough to the Grand Hall to feel its energy, yet removed enough to reconnect with your group and enjoy a more personal moment.
You come up for one drink.
Sometimes you order a second, simply to see where the evening is going.

Capturing the spirit of ALCAZAR
The Mezzanine does not try to reproduce the intensity of the Grand Hall. It offers a counterpoint.
A place to watch the movement of the house, meet up with friends, enjoy the setting and feel the energy of ALCAZAR flow around you without having to follow every moment of the performance.
A freer space, where you can stay for a while or return several times throughout the night.
A bar above the party, but never outside it.
You come upstairs for a drink. You stay for the atmosphere.
We’ll all go to ALCAZAR. Some of us will meet at the Mezzanine.
