The Mezzanine at ALCAZAR

A bar above the party

Take a little height. Never your distance.

Overlooking the Grand Hall, the Mezzanine offers another way to experience ALCAZAR.

Head upstairs for a drink, meet friends, continue a conversation and feel the house change rhythm as the night unfolds. Music reaches the upper level, the lights reshape the space and the energy of the room below always remains present.

GAINING PERSPECTIVE

A balcony overlooking the energy of the house

From upstairs, you catch glimpses of the movements in the Grand Hall, the arrivals, the changing lights and the different moments of the evening.

The show occasionally appears through the various perspectives, but it is not the centre of the experience here. You feel its energy, hear the music and sense the audience’s reactions more than you follow every tableau.

Midnight blue after glowing red

Upstairs, the atmosphere shifts in tone.

The reds, golds and monumentality of the Grand Hall give way to midnight-blue velvet, gold embroidery, polished wood and brass reflections.

Rounded banquettes and pleated curtains create a more enveloping setting, ideal for conversation.

You come up for one drink.

A bar for meeting up and extending the evening

The bar gives the Mezzanine its true purpose.

Meet friends there, change atmosphere during the night or take a pause without ever leaving ALCAZAR.

Cocktails accompany the conversations while the house continues to move a few metres below.

Two ways to enjoy a drink.

Two bars, two atmospheres

On the ground floor, the Grand Bar sits at the heart of arrivals and the different movements of the evening. It is a natural meeting point before dinner, between two moments or when the night continues.

Upstairs, the Mezzanine bar offers a different experience. Its more intimate atmosphere allows you to take a little distance without losing the connection with the music and energy of the house.

The Grand Bar accompanies the movement of the room. The Mezzanine lets you experience it from another perspective. Two ways to enjoy a drink.

the transformation of the entire Alcazar

After the first Paris s’éveille experience, the night continues upstairs

Guests arriving between 6pm and 7pm release their table at 8.30pm to make way for the late evening. Subject to availability and reception conditions, they may then move upstairs to the Mezzanine bar.

Dinner may be over, but the reunion continues over a cocktail while ALCAZAR welcomes a new group of guests.

Capturing the spirit of ALCAZAR

The Mezzanine does not try to reproduce the intensity of the Grand Hall. It offers a counterpoint.

A place to watch the movement of the house, meet up with friends, enjoy the setting and feel the energy of ALCAZAR flow around you without having to follow every moment of the performance.

A freer space, where you can stay for a while or return several times throughout the night.
